Meet Your Germany Chapter Leadership Team

Roger Rhoades, Chapter President

As an Enterprise Architect at DB Systel, Roger is the principal mediator between Business and IT, ensuring that the IT-Implementation supports the underlying business goals through the creation of strategic and tactical blueprints and IT-governance. Roger has over 20 years of experience in managing, developing and implementing IT Strategies and software architectures. "Throughout my career, the Architects within my immediate circle have been essential in providing me with growth opportunities. I would now like to leverage my experience and take an active role in growing a sustainable architecture community within Germany that offers clear and concrete value to our members”.

Jon Hill, Chapter Board Mitglied

Jon brings almost 10 years of IT consulting experience into the fray. He has seen how architecture is viewed by, and has evolved, within the small, mid-level, and large companies; and commented that, “the lateral support system is often missing”. “IT changes so fast, so developing standards and processes are extremely important”. He is specifically looking to concentrate on the growth of IT Architecture as a profession.

David L. Hollembaek, Chapter Board Mitglied

David works in Microsoft Consulting delivering Productivity solutions On-Premise and in the Cloud for clients across Europe with the support of great architecture and development teams. David strives to deliver high-value solutions and simplify the complex with clear and simple empirical methods. David has worked primarily in technical roles in the Finance, Telecommunications, and Software industries over the past 15 years and also brings experience on a Non-profit Board to Iasa Germany.

"I am excited to help deliver on Iasa’s vision, and grow Iasa in Germany. I believe there is much interest in our profession across Germany and that this makes a great opportunity to build a community that directly serves its members and supports the global Architecture community. I expect that Iasa Germany grows and builds on the global pool of knowledge with meaningful contributions on Day-1".

Amit Matharay, Chapter Ratgeber

Amit Matharay, a Managing Partner of Archtexx in Frankfurt, has over 15 years experience within the IT industry; specifically large scale, global IT Transportation projects, and therefore brings with him a wide array of technological background to our Leadership Team.
Amit, a member of the German chapter Board of Advisors, is excited about the networking possibilities and discussions that are sure to take place when you compile a group of IT Architects from all facets and levels within the field, “to be a unified and single source which provides definition, skills, training, a more comprehensive knowledge base and a community for IT Professionals is something very unique!”. The critical advantage of IASA is the collaboration of the experienced people, not the platforms or specific technologies.

Jennifer King, Chapter Veranstaltungskoordinatorin

Not only does she coordinate all chapter activities, she also is the main point of contact for members or those interested in participating in German chapter activities as a speaker, sponsor or other contributing capacity. To get in contact with Jennifer, please email her.
